Trump successfully closed on this contract approximately 7 months ago.
Looks like the clintons get what they want sounds like a bumpy ride
The purpose is securing freedom of navigation within the region for geostrategic purposes.
I've already said this before, but I'll make damn sure anyone in gov't that wants to draw Iranian blood over a flying toy with a camera should be brought before Rudolph Anderson Jr's grave and explain their reasoning.
He was in office and it was only less than half a year
Some of the war games as of late, I've heard, have been going very badly for the US. Very costly victories. I don't know how true this is, but I wouldn't be surprised given even the military has succumbed to the PC rot of including the mentally ill and handicapped for social approval, sometimes even in top brass positions.
As goes freedom of navigation, you secure the freedom to trade, which benefits the region with economic stability, jobs, and further economic development, which mitigates terrorism over the long-term.
@Miniature Menace some consideration must also be given to the attrition of exhaustion
we've been in active conflict for fucking decades
Canada wooped you guys at the last couple US Canada war game
But the last couple have been home field advantage
Supposedly a big factor in possible war with China is that they supposedly have the ability to fuck up our communications infrastructure big time, and destroy most of our planes on the ground.
Yeah, war by attrition is in the playbook, but I doubt it'll extend beyond the sanctions. It's desirable to see more stable countries within the region to develop quicker than Iran, given their future vision of the region is a radical, theocratic super-state built on the back of terrorism.
Anyone with big bomb that can get into the upper atmosphere
Space Force isn't sounding quite so silly about now.
We’ve been able to since honest John not very new
Just for wide scale use you need it to go really high
If we were ever going to conduct an offensive operation against Iran, I believe it'd simply end up with the utilization of nuclear weapons.
Obviously
We're not going to waste our assets in the region.
The best-case-scenario for our military forces is to skip ahead by dropping the bomb.
We have conventional weapons with very high yields. I don't think we'd need to use nukes to lay waste to Iran.
Let’s hope not cause we’d have to come help and your meat grinders suck
That's more expensive, Menace.
It'll also result in an extend period of conflict.
Non-nuclear arms have come a long way in destructive potential, since the mid century.
All you need is honest John it’s the honest truth, and when we see the red menace we’ll feed them a whole lot of honesty
I miss that America
I miss presidents that weren't afraid to tell Israel to fall in line or get no funding
I suppose there is a bit of nostalgia to be had for the America where you could sort of believe in the lie that they were opposed to the global communists. Instead of letting those global communists openly run their media and academia.
We had a previous administration attempt that, but we all see how that went.
Bush Sr. got his way with Israel
Why would a nation fund a nation
That’s the worst thing that any nation including mine has done
why indeed
Bush Sr's resistance to Israel is why he didn't get a second term.
We're only opposed to the global communists in pursuit of our manifest destiny, not in regards to expansionism, but proliferation of our values.
that and Bill struck lightning with his campaign
Which is funny, because before you name dropped Bush, I was thinking, "You mean like JFK?"
It's within our self-interest we oppose them.
