The Syrian army will need new equipment
New aircraft
It will have debts to Russia as well
All things which Russia can benefit from..

Literally why does this matter Have you considered that they are an enemy because we go out of our way to make them an enemy
I think russia is only focused on the states because if they come to far north into the arctic circle it could cause an actual war to be worried about
