sat on their asses for an entire year without even a hearing or a vote
no shade on the judge trump picked, its not his fault, but its still a fucking stolen seat
if you ask McConnel himself he'd brag
I mean if you heard about Title9 and thought "that's fucked" EPA and OSHA courts have been working that way for decades. Oh and on that DeVos is fucking up Title9 too.
How do you fuck up title 9
It's already as shitty as it could possibly get
fucking up how? as in tearing it down or making it worse?
Like you can make it shitty in a new way but it can't be *worse*
I've stopped believing there's a "bottom" to be found when it comes to legal-language
I meant wrecking it.
again, not helpful. are we supposed to take a positive or negative note from that?
She's also been doing great work on school choice.
OK
Making Title 9 not fuck people for being straight males. CLear enough?
Aff
well holy shit, the bitch did something right, shocking
She's done a lot right. Which again I figured Trump and his cabinet were going to be a shitshow. I was wrong about that.
oh really?
suppose Jeff Sessions, the robber baron attourney general was a good pick, too
mr "Civil Asset Forfeiture" Sessions
mr "I'm okay with robbery by badge"
the guy who personally sued the fucking thing 45 times
No I do not much like Sessions. I did not like Messe either. He did do better than I expected. If a politician, or anyone, agreed with me 100% I might have to re-evaluate my position.
half of his picks were designed to make sure these departments get absolutely nothing fucking done
Yes. Fucking brilliant.
wow, alright, we have different definitions of a "positive" movement, then
lets just grind the administration to a halt, because "fuck you"
Most departments are shit. So if most of them are incapacitated we are on the right path.
or, you know, make them not shit?
We need a bureau that just gets rid of other bureaus
I was afraid he was going to expand them FDR style...
Cull the alphabet soup
I don't know how to approach that fucking lunatic analogy
FIRST START was also great.
I mean my education was in ME I ended up working mostly in heavy industry. Now we get these guys who have "I went to jail" tattoos. We teach them a trade and how to take care of their family. That did not happen a few years ago.
Wish Oregonians had that kind of work ethic. Back when I was working warhouse, manager was interviewing this guy, and he said they were almost done, up to the bit where he needed to provide criminal history. He said dude said he had to get something out of his car, then drove the fuck off.
in fact most interviewees either never showed up or never came back
Well, I mean, Pacific NW. My little sister moved up there and became a plumber. Then she became a lead. RN her company is trying to keep her because they gave her an instructor offer at the local trade school. But she has the normal MidWest work ethic...
Warehouse wanted to keep me because I was there long enough to have learned all the floor roles and even some office operation, but I needed to get the fuck out of Oregon, and that job would have killed me eventually
no fucking priority from main branch for maintenance, constantly under-capacity regarding employees, absolutely no climate control
the pay was fantastic, but also being taxed at Oregon rates
