If ideas aren’t a reflection of material, then why can’t I think of any colours that I haven’t seen before?

Why can’t colourblind people think of colours normal people can see?

Why do people who were blind from birth only have dreams with the same sensory perception of what they usually sense?

The answer is because ideas (and dreams) are but reflections of what we sense in the material world

one of my friends thinks that the double slit experiment supports an idealist perception of reality because "consciousness" collapses the wave function or something
