Dang, joined the party late.
I’ve been called homophobic by my own gay brother, yet I still love him unconditionally. I’m not even homophobic, just opinionated on particularly the trans community, and I don’t even have blind hate for them, just individuals.
Long story short: they do tend to be a bit more sensitive, but it’s understandable.
My own cousins were the same during their lesbian wedding. They kept crying wolf at people who may possibly be homophobic who in reality put in effort to help put the wedding together.
Like everyone, one must carry themselves with understanding and the willingness to listen and have conversations.
Sometimes people are just to sensitive and scared, there's not much you can do about it
Not much one can do. I always say this: different people need different things.
