it's fine. first, you need to enable developer mode. so, swipe right, to open the left drawer. then, down it the bottom right, there is user settings. it should have your profile pic on it. tap that. then, scroll down to where it says `behavior`. Tap that, then tap developer mode to turn it on.

to copy a link to a message (after you enable dev mode), longpress the timestamp of the message. there should be a `share` option; you may need to scroll. tap that, then tap copy to clipboard

that last part may be a tad different for iOS devices, but it should be somewhat similar
