Hm, well I had listened to a ska punk group named *The Interruptors*
An infrequent listen, wasn't too impressed
Hmmm apparently it's in danger of a message cleansing, *I mean rewrite to modern sub-standards*

Well crap. That just ruined the whole thing for me 😑
So.... Apparently the reason is due to "slut shaming". I just looked it up.
We'll see where this goes. Going back and changing lyrics isn't unheard of, but a total rewrite is <:Ben_Cringe:752572527120875520>
""""Slut shaming""""
Yeah. This song made so much sense and now... I see the power of cancel culture and stupid fanbases.
It's not simply canceling someone. The term "online hate mob" is more fitting and properly serious. I can think of one song in my library that fits the same vein as your posted one...
Yes please, thank you. Imma have to look more into this situation anyway.
Okie dokie. On that note, check out Dave Mustaine's satirical take on *These Boots*
Thx. Until I get more info about this situation, there's no way I'm recommending that song to anyone.
Well, it depends. If the old version remains available, direct them to that. I'd expect them to try and scrub the old version at some point
A good example is *These Boots*, which got a lyric rewrite itself. I explicity reference the "old one" instead of the "new one"
Yeah. Such a waste tho. Of a good song.
Rip it from YouTube to preserve. It only becomes ruined in any sense once the new PC rewrite comes out <:thinking:726878987837636698>
True
You know how to rip from YouTube right?
I've heard of it. My friend will probs know so ill ask her.
Okeh, a reccomended site of mine is ytmp3.cc of which I have used for years with no hickups
It does have one minor annoyance - it opens a new scam tab when you start the download, but just once per sitting
