Honestly a T-80 could've done the same work.

2021-01-21 18:19:58 UTC

Arma 3 ain't real life mate

2021-01-21 18:20:02 UTC

I know that for sure.

2021-01-21 18:20:09 UTC

I just play it for the fun.

2021-01-21 18:20:14 UTC

Yeah

2021-01-21 18:20:15 UTC

still more combat than a t14 has seen

2021-01-21 18:20:47 UTC

Also you can see some of the weird equipment like the T-14k which is more or less a meme tank with a 20mm replacing the 7.62

2021-01-21 18:20:55 UTC

Least to say, not effecient.

2021-01-21 18:21:00 UTC

Sure is fun though.

2021-01-21 18:21:13 UTC

It’s a show off platform

2021-01-21 18:21:22 UTC

Much better just upgrading T-72s

2021-01-21 18:21:30 UTC

I would say it's the Zumwalt of tanks

2021-01-21 18:21:31 UTC

They still work great with the upgrades

2021-01-21 18:22:01 UTC

Still the hard part comes down to whether or not you should just refit the old or make a new platform.

2021-01-21 18:22:11 UTC

Russia focuses too much on show off and not enough on an affordable and worthwhile platform

2021-01-21 18:23:16 UTC

Yeah, especially with their advancements on Exo suits. Because those sure will last.

2021-01-21 18:23:25 UTC

Yeah likely not.

2021-01-21 18:23:49 UTC

Or they won’t be able to produce them in sufficient numbers

2021-01-21 18:24:07 UTC

just like almost every other army vehicle in the last 20-30 years

2021-01-21 18:24:56 UTC

Or resume production of a platform

2021-01-21 18:25:06 UTC

usually when a weapon is developed and fielded in a war, they usually aren't produced in large enough numbers o make a difference

2021-01-21 18:25:24 UTC

What

2021-01-21 18:25:31 UTC

That’s not true at all

2021-01-21 18:26:07 UTC

Weapons developed and fielded during war are more likely to be produced faster and more often than if produced outside of it

2021-01-21 18:27:30 UTC

STG44 was developed later in WW2 and they weren't able to produce nearly enough to turn the tide of the war, not that they could considering that Russian tanks were flooding the East with Red Steel, while Allied Bombers pulverized German Factories in the west along with the cities around them

2021-01-21 18:28:57 UTC

P-51D, M1 Carbine, B-29, B-17G, M4 Sherman, Essex Class carriers

2021-01-21 18:29:11 UTC

All mass produced during ww2

2021-01-21 18:29:24 UTC

All not existing beforehand

2021-01-21 18:29:56 UTC

The Difference is that America was basically untouched by the fighting, except for the fighting in Pearl Harbor

2021-01-21 18:30:54 UTC

ok?

2021-01-21 18:31:08 UTC

What’s that got to do with the original statement

2021-01-21 18:31:22 UTC

i said usually,

2021-01-21 18:31:28 UTC

america is the exception

2021-01-21 18:31:45 UTC

Britain and the USSR both produced complete new designs

2021-01-21 18:31:50 UTC

Same with Germany

2021-01-21 18:32:13 UTC

Panther was made to counter the T-34 during Barbarossa

2021-01-21 18:32:45 UTC

You have to keep making new weapons during war to keep up with your enemy

2021-01-21 18:33:08 UTC

obviously yes, but Germany overdid it

2021-01-21 18:33:54 UTC

and it hindered their ability to mass produce the ones that worked

2021-01-21 18:34:06 UTC

There’s exceptions but generally, producing and using new weapons makes you better than the enemy

2021-01-21 18:34:35 UTC

war time usually brings about the largest technological advances
