Army is good too.
Especially if you’re a college student.
@SPRTNWRRYR1974 Army is by far the best as they can pay for multiple degrees.
@violet_paladin I got a friend in the Marines who wanted to deploy, he had some of the worst deployments in the Mediterranean and some random Nordic countries. He tried to fight in the Middle East. Lol in Air Force, it depends on your job. They actually build majority of the air superiority planes and supply them to both Navy and Army
What are the benefits of the marines like retirement and insurance or something? @violet_paladin
Been in the Air Force for 8 years. I've taken a private tour through the Taj Mahal, eaten crepes at the feet of the Eifel tower, dipped my toes in the red sea, fished for mahi mahi a few miles off the Panama Canal, walked through Tokyo during the cherry blossom festivals, chased monkeys around the Strait of Gibralter, and so much more. I joined the Air Force with the intentions of seeing the world and I've done just that. If you want to be on the front lines fighting the enemy, then you most definitely can do that. But there are other avenues within the military that you can pursue. It's all really about your goals and intentions.
Biggest difference between the Air Force and Marines is that i can see their makeshift FOB from the balcony of my hotel room.
OOH. Those are fighting words.
Lol in terms of financial benefits all the branches are the same, you all get the same dd214 and g.i. bill provided you don't fuck it up.
Free college to get more knowledge and the ability to put you served on a resume.
The only real difference is the quality of life you'll have.
Also lol at "I joined the military to see the world"
I mean I did too, to meet new, bad people, and make them a lot less dangerous.
And as far as intangible rewards, you'll be the first in to fights, you'll be better trained, arguably worse equipped but you'll get the job done.
Basically if dark souls was a military branch it would be the Marines, there are easier, more pleasant experiences to be sure.
But after you go through Marine boot camp you can move to other branches without having to go through their boot camp with the exception of the coast guard and you usually pick up ranks while you do it
Ok
Battle of Kawanakajima, Takeda Clan vs Uesugi Clan.
Idk I hear the Airforce is easy, good food, 5 star rooms its like the high end of them all
Ya and nobody really respects them for that reason lol.
When we landed in baghram the air force got hazard pay for us being there despite them being in the green zone
It's easy, it's for the people who are smart and don't want to actually fight.
With the exception of csar people air force guys are like meh.
Cool print

I plan on being team army over here
Me and a friend both trying for west point
If you get it, please don't end up as one of the arrogant 2LT's that think that West Point makes you better than the rest.... it doesn't, and us enlisted guys will make fun of you if you act like that.
No I wouln't
I'm just in there to be a jag later on
I've had to work hard my whole life since school system tried to fuck with me so I have no sense of being prentous
That's about how I feel about the Army right now....
