Nope, looking it over, it's not the same. They didn't build whole camps specifically to murder the Armenians. Not that it was much better, but they also forcibly integrated them with the Muslims. Not awesome, obviously. But nowhere near the fanatical hatred as Hitler inspired.

Hitler only inspired a FEW fanatics. The German ARMY despised the Nazi's and the SS troopers. The few in the SS/Nazi ranks were zealots, and almost all were executed after the war. You make it seem like ALL of Germany knew what was going on at first. They had zero clue, and when they finally figured it out, they had surrendered their arms, and had no means of fighting back.

Most lived in CONSTANT fear after the realization set in, and either followed orders or were sent to the same camps. So, tell me this. If you had no way to fight back, had a family to look after, and you knew that if you spoke up you, and your ENTIRE family (even extended) would be sent to a camp and exterminated. Your wife and daughters would be sent to concentration camps, and used by the soldiers for whatever they desire, and you would just be shot with no trial. Could YOU knowingly send yourself to your death, and subject your wife and children to such a life?
