Solid.. veeery strong action

2021-02-03 04:03:28 UTC

That’s what I’ve always heard about them

2021-02-03 04:03:30 UTC

Use hot loads.. no problem

2021-02-03 04:03:40 UTC

They they can run the hottest ammo you can make

2021-02-03 04:03:45 UTC

Yes

2021-02-03 04:03:58 UTC

Built like a tank

2021-02-03 04:05:55 UTC

speaking of hot loads and black hawks, they may be the strongest guns ever devised, but they have a limit just as everything else does. I saw one at a museum that some poor sole purchased along with some ammo from the previous owner. turns out, said owner handloaded that ammo, an he didnt know what he was doing. First shot left the ruger blackhawk looking like a hand grenade went off. :(

2021-02-03 04:06:10 UTC

oh you said red yawk

2021-02-03 04:06:14 UTC

2021-02-03 04:06:27 UTC

2021-02-03 04:06:49 UTC

Poor gun and poor guy

2021-02-03 04:06:51 UTC

Damn.

2021-02-03 04:07:09 UTC

Well. my friend has one and uses COR-BON 300 grain solids and BUFFALO BORE 320 grainers for big bear

2021-02-03 04:07:34 UTC

Those,pack a WALLUP

2021-02-03 04:07:41 UTC

Damn where did him learn to make that kinda round!?

2021-02-03 04:07:47 UTC

mhm. now tbf, the museum curator told me he believed the ruger's superior design saved the man's life and limbs because it directed the blast up and forwards

2021-02-03 04:07:49 UTC

He*

2021-02-03 04:08:23 UTC

The duude handloaded it TOO HOT

2021-02-03 04:08:26 UTC

i think he probably just stuffed it with a super fine powder

2021-02-03 04:08:57 UTC

I think i already told this story a while ago, but my friend got into reloading, and the last i heard of him, he reloaded some 308 but had to stop when he decided instead of literally asking anyone with experience, he decided to just do it

2021-02-03 04:09:04 UTC

I’ve never heard of a 44 magnum Blackhawk grenading from any even super hot commercial ammo

2021-02-03 04:09:22 UTC

and now as im aware, he has a .308 just packed with powder

2021-02-03 04:09:50 UTC

plz tell me he never fired it <:KEKWait:780472182387376130>

2021-02-03 04:09:55 UTC

He’s just going way above safe specs

2021-02-03 04:10:09 UTC

ye me neither

2021-02-03 04:11:05 UTC

thankfully no, he looked it up when it apparently "felt different then it should have" whatever that means

2021-02-03 04:11:34 UTC

and now he just has it sitting on his desk at home

2021-02-03 04:11:48 UTC

oh lord, thats scary

2021-02-03 04:11:50 UTC

‘ incoming’. !!

2021-02-03 04:12:30 UTC

has he tried to drill it out or take it to the fire dept to dispose it?

2021-02-03 04:12:48 UTC

or is he saving it has a memento?

2021-02-03 04:12:54 UTC

2021-02-03 04:12:57 UTC
