cause they never know how to flip a knife
since I was 10
I’ve got mine at my first summer camp for boy scouts
arizona gang gang
Knives aren’t real kitchen knives
Real lives are nothing like catching lives
Kitchen knives
They are way sharper
the only reason our kitchen knives aren't sharper is b/c I have little siblings that think "chopping" means hacking away at the cutting board.
I think the first time I went was when I was around maybe 9?
It was a while ago
But at least 5 years minimum
ye same. My papa gave me a knife when I was born, as a gift, but my dad didn't let me use it until i turned 10. He took me camping for my 10 bday, and thats when Dad gave it to me
taught me how to use it, and be safe with it too
it was a little Case 02 ltd special
I'd get a picture, but I lost it several years ago :(
Dang, I can do that too but not as fast 🤣 I do it with a flick knife so gravity does the work in opening it as long as I push it a little.
I love my Ruger CRKT knives
Hoping to get a Kershaw sometime
i need to get an actual whetstone or actual sharpening thing you use for knives at some point
and way smoother
Me too
I had a benchmade griptillian that was really fun b/c it opened and closed on gravity, but I lost it on a run.
I just bought a spider co double stuff stone
I frkn love it
I use rem oil on it, instead of kerosene, but it still works fine
u just need a little extra oil
i imagine seeing sparks while doing that is fun
i've never seen a spark using a whetsone
maybe an electric grinder
but a grinder will remove to much material in most cases
I also lost this one! <:KEK:795742276549607456>
but it was super fun
the springs broke like twice in it, but Kershaw sent free replacements out
damn that's your's clemens?
Yep
I had to Jerry rig it with a deck prism a TI 84 and a pen
