I swear.. I still have two of those gold teeth in a memory box from my father
It’s just weird that I’ve kept them but I have to
damn. I dont blame you, its a part of your history
Can you imagine that kind of hand to hand combat I just can’t believe my father did that when he was 21 years old
I've got lots of swords most are Antique or really good reproduction, before I was into guns I collected those. I also have a ww2 NCO Japanese katana
He lived .. the Jap died
Wow. Nice CZ
no I cant, my great grandpa did the same thing, but he wasnt so lucky. He got shot and run through with a bayonet in hand-to-hand, but survived by God's grace.
Most of my swords are in storage
I have this sword hanging right above the mantle of my fireplace
nice.
I had it refurbished and sharpened by a very old Japanese sword Smith in Phoenix he charged me $300 to completely refurbish and re-sharpen the blade but when it came back you could split a hair it was so good he told me it’s a special Japanese sharpening technique only used on good folded steel samurai swords
my grandpa hung the rifle he was shot with up too. Grandma wouldn't let him hang the bayonet on it though <:KEK:795742276549607456>
or a similar one
Damn. He got the rifle he was shot with that’s cool
I do too a reproduction of a NCO csa sword and a windless current production of the kukri for those cool gurkhas
wow
Nice BOGWELL. BOWIE
Yeah nice Bowie oof my friend
Kukris are bad ass knives there was some knife makers here in Arizona at the last gun show that we’re making Kukris and they were pretty damn good and they only wanted like $140
I should’ve picked one up
I might buy a stiletto soon
I love the look of them
I have been looking at stilletos too. There is just something about how they look and feel
I’ll sell you that Smith and Wesson stiletto in my knife pack for 80 bucks that’s about half price and it’s a folder
👀
Agreed, kukris are awesome weapons. one of my friends is restoring one, and good lord, that thing is heavy.
For an edc stiletto try a cold steel tri-lite..good AUS 8 steel and g10 handles
I'll look at them
One swing of that Kukri though and somethings getting cut off
God my thumbs are covered in dead skin
easily. I doubt it even needs a good edge to be effective
I've got ww1 kukri that I carry its razor sharp
I believe it’s about a 4 1/2 inch blade but I sharpened it to perfection even on the back edge for the last third
callouses are the sign of a working man <:KEK:795742276549607456>
Yeah. The Gurkhas and New Zealanders terrified the Japanese with those damn knives
They knew if they got captured their head was going to be put on a pole
Yeap and I love story's of melee combat between the two, especially sometimes hearing a kukri snapped or bent a katana or two using officers kukris
