^. Thats what they did in VA last year. They introduced one big bill like hr127 to scare all the gunowners and get there attention onto that, and then they shuffled a dozen smaller bills.

Exactly. We're doing alright in VA, beating back an almost completely blue government. But it was foolish of us to expect to strike down all the bad bills. I suspect you're right, the feds will do the same. There *will* be some degree of gun control that'll be signed into law. We need to work to make sure it's minimal, and then to further repeal or reverse it when we get the chance.
Left and right can come together on this issue, that I believe. The problem is that when you're teetering on the edge, a gust is all it takes to topple you. If they keep us here for too long, some sort of incident will happen and emotional chaos will send us off the cliff.
That could very well happen too. It's hard to say.
