also, gambling is like, all or nothing sometimes. With trading you can at least make judgement calls on what to do next, if you should cut your losses or keep the stock in and see how high it goes before pulling out

I imagine different stocks have different inherent values and what is considered "cheap" for a share may be expensive for another
