is that on paper? have you tried CG work at all? I feel it's harder to get used to but you can scan and transfer your linework/sketches to your computer and add colors and shading non-destructively

I did.

I did the drawing on paper and I put it on my iPad to trace over it and make corrections and clean up.

I think the colors blend together too much because of how dark it is. Might also be the saturation.

the background mainly. but it can work if you ease up the saturation and replace the depth with light/shadow
