Being a patient now means you're an advocate now?

2021-02-21 17:21:51 UTC

"Mental Health Advocate/Patient" right?

2021-02-21 17:25:57 UTC

Lmao

2021-02-21 17:27:35 UTC

I mean

2021-02-21 17:28:02 UTC

You can theoretically be both an advocate and a patient at the same time without then extending that title out to everyone

2021-02-21 17:28:08 UTC

In fact it’s not that hard

2021-02-21 17:28:48 UTC

If you have mental health issues that you go in for treatment for, and you also advocate for better and more widespread mental health resources, congratulations you’re a mental health patient/advocate

2021-02-21 17:30:20 UTC

True

2021-02-21 17:30:43 UTC

But haven’t you guys noticed that these mental health people are the same people screaming BLM acab

2021-02-21 17:32:02 UTC

I broke my fucking finger

2021-02-21 17:32:06 UTC

Why

2021-02-21 17:32:44 UTC

You have bad luck with fingers

2021-02-21 17:32:58 UTC

idk ask ur finger

2021-02-21 17:33:48 UTC

OI JOSUKE!!!

I am bacc bois

2021-02-21 17:34:11 UTC

😋

2021-02-21 17:34:14 UTC

wow

2021-02-21 17:34:16 UTC

seems fun

2021-02-21 17:34:41 UTC

Except that the left likes to change definitions and ban words they deemed offensive, so "patient" is offensive and being replaced with "advocate".

2021-02-21 17:34:59 UTC

what?

2021-02-21 17:35:05 UTC

how is patient offensive?

2021-02-21 17:35:25 UTC

That’s ... not true

2021-02-21 17:35:32 UTC

Like it’s just not

2021-02-21 17:35:51 UTC

You're kidding, right?

2021-02-21 17:36:14 UTC

wtf are you guys talking about?

2021-02-21 17:36:20 UTC

patient is offensive?

2021-02-21 17:36:22 UTC

wtf?

2021-02-21 17:36:24 UTC

Hey yall what's that bill biden wants to pass isn't it like NHR21 or something that ends the sell of assault rifles

2021-02-21 17:36:38 UTC

Patient and advocate don’t mean anywhere near the same thing, and no one wants to exchange those words

2021-02-21 17:37:14 UTC

Just give it time and they will.

2021-02-21 17:37:55 UTC

Please forgive my limited knowledge, but I think patient is used in the medical sector, while advocate is used in other formal sectors (ex. lawyer)

2021-02-21 17:38:11 UTC

They will eventually not want to be called a mental health patient and so replace it with advocate

2021-02-21 17:38:25 UTC

This isn’t ... an argument. “SJWs are doing ___!” “No, they aren’t, that doesn’t make any sense” “Well they will do it!”

2021-02-21 17:38:54 UTC

@Mcgoober u broke ur finger? how is it now?

2021-02-21 17:38:57 UTC

SJWs blew up the moon

2021-02-21 17:39:27 UTC

They’re trying to make being a mental health patient less socially unacceptable, which is a good thing imo.

2021-02-21 17:39:33 UTC

You live under a rock? Look what they did with words like "racism" and "whiteness"

2021-02-21 17:40:07 UTC

They took them to extremes, but they didn’t substitute them for completely unrelated words that have no connection to the first word.

2021-02-21 17:40:36 UTC

Is racism overused? Yes. Does it have the same core definition, just over applied? Yes.

2021-02-21 17:41:06 UTC

Whiteness, while being an idiotic concept, is used to apply to things that are traditionally white.

2021-02-21 17:41:17 UTC

Advocate and patient have no connection
