Generally they kinda have their tropes and specific elements , like sometimes a Seinen like Berserker is structured and writen like a Shojo with darker themes
See, I'm older. So I've already been through the stage where I thought mindless violence and gore was cool. Same with smutty girls trying to get in bed with the protagonist or stupid sex shenanigans.
I'm looking for a good story. And what interested me about the last one was that I saw something that was really rare. And that thing was romance that was portrayed in a way that was both reasonable and wholesome at the same time.
Like you can divide it based on what the story is about at different points , you have golden age , lost children, the one with the religious dudes etc
