But as far as charges go, usually these prosecutors choose some overblown charge that doesn't stick because they are acting with emotion instead of reason/logic, like they'll choose Murder in the 1st degree, which means Derek would have had to wake up that morning and decided to kill george floyd, at a specific time and place, in a specific way, etc...

Manslaughter charge might stick, since he wasn't rendering aid to somebody suffering from excited delerium / having a heart attack
