Who else in Canadian here? I ask because a lot of people think that you can't get guns here.
I mean that you can't get guns in Canada
But yes, you can. But there are restrictions - like you can't get a pistol that has a barrel shorter that 4.2"
or 4.24"
Canada has strict gun laws compared to the USA
But it's more lax than states like California
Yeah
You have to get a license to be able to purchase firearms here. It's called a PAL (Possession and Acquisition License) and there are two levels - Non-Restricted and Restricted
Pistols and rifles like an AR-15 fall under Restricted
But I have my full PAL with Restricted, so I collect firearms here
AR-15 is restricted but an SKS is non-restricted. Makes no sense.
Bububub it looks scary!
indeed lol
SKS looks scary too
Hmm
*some SKS
and *some AR-15
They're classes of guns people
Siiighghhhh
But I mostly collect pistols so far
Nice
I want to get a .38 revolver of some kind at some point
Not picky just yet
I've got my eyes set on this relatively cheap .44 special
Charter arms bulldog classic
looks nice.
Kicks like a bitch but apparently pretty good quality
I eventually want to get a Colt Single Action Army
So far I have a Glock 17, Browning Hi Power, M&P 2.0 (.40 Cal), and .45 1911
oh I also have a TT-33
The only rifle I really want is an SMLE of some type
My buddy's uncle has one, got to fire off a bit, best feeling gun I've ever shot
Is there anywhere I can find a well-made 1911 for like less than 700?
I'd love to get an SMLE
But the 1911 I bought is a Remington R1, I got it for a little over $900 (Canadian)
Pretty good price
SMLE has got history, good looks, and isn't too expensive to fire if you get one that fires 7.62×51mm NATO
Is it easy to find one in that caliber though?
I thought most of them - at least the surplus - are chambered in .303
