@Evropa Beagle .300bo was designed for tiny barrels and engagements under 100yds. You can shoot it out of a 7.5" barrel with nearly no loss of velocity, unlike .223 for which you'd need a 14" barrel minimum. It's great at those ranges. It's also good if you're planning on getting a suppressor, but that requires a separate barrel with a different twist rate from the .300bo supers. The actual amazing thing about that caliber is you can easily unmeme your ar if you don't like it with a .223 barrel swap. The magazines, bolt and upper are identical.

the downside is it's not as flat shooting as .223 so it's much harder to engage targets out to 400yds
