it's quite tolerable
what about the illnesses that you can get in africa?
hundreds of thousands of whites live and farm in namibia
it's not that different from Arizona atm
when you travel to africa you have to get vaccines
Malaria isn't in southern namibia
hence why whites live there

Hello everyone, I recently talked to @Orchid about starting up a book club for the server.
I want to run it biweekly. We will read the book and then meet up on Sunday to discuss.
If there is interest, then we will make a list of essential reads. The list will probably contain books some of you have already read, but I would still encourage you to participate in the discussion.
Let us know if you are interested.
ill join in
I'm in for sure. Have you decided on a book yet?
Not yet, taking recommendations if you have any
Depends on the direction you want to take it. The 3 general options are, books that are oriented towards improving one's self (ie. foundational classics, philosophical works, etc..), books that are just great books and entertaining reads, or some combination of the two.
Personally, a good balance works well enough for me.
Re-read some Aristotle last week, reading Ready Player One this week.
I would like to focus on self-improvement, but also include the occasional entertaining/classic book.
I like the Art of War as a first book. It's pretty aproachable to any reader and people tend to take something new away from it every time they read it.
The greek classics are good too. Plato, Aristotle, etc.
Beli runs the book club on the Maine Server I believe, you should ask him what they started with. Not that you would necessarily want to be exactly the same, but it may give you some ideas.
