The ludicrous (sometimes) grind is the thing I dislike the most so far

I’m here trying to defeat a boss that like requires 3 weapon types to take down and the reward weapon I get has only like 30pts more of damage like BRUHH

and there's my gripe with every borderlands after 1

they doubled down on the "make the brands unique!" thing super hard

so to do any of the end game shit you have top optimize your gear by brand

At least Destiny(The first release), for how unfair and unforgiving the loot system was, the game will actually give you high tier/exotic items

And the end game content dropped ridiculously good/must have weapons/armory

Although some of the loot I get can be pretty good with BL, it feels pretty temporary and not really a “must have” type of thing tbh @kawaii

Especially with how fast the Leveling scales(weapon, damage and armor) for content

It's not even a *good* skinner box

Cannot even upgrade weapons either

The game is a carefully designed dopamine drip

There’s a reason why Destiny 1 stuck out even during the hardest and driest of times

but like I said, it isn't even good at it

You will always come back for loot

And that is the only reason

Diablo 2 is a *good* skinner box

Borderlands and Torchlight are bad skinner boxes

Gunplay is very fun for me though

But the weapon system is pretty clunky I’ll admit

For me, Borderlands gunplay is no better than Fallout 4 or Cyberpunk
