4 weapons at once feels something more akin to TF2
Cycling through the inventory can also be a pain
both games which, in my opinion, give me a greater sense of progress from the grind
At least with Destiny, the UI and Weapon Storing via the vault feels incredibly smooth but can sometimes be slow
Fallout has it's unique gameplay loop of build settlement -> go adventure -> loot -> return to settlement to build it further
And you get a real sense that you've done something worthwhile when you come home after your 10th outing and your settlement is protected by rocket launchers and gatling lasers
You actually get the sense that your work has gone toward something cumulative
with borderlands you just feel like you're constantly iterating to keep up with the big numbers
Will see and reflect upon our talk
And try to decide for myself whether I should continue or not
I’m actually really enjoying the game by far because of how nostalgic it is and how much it reminded me of Destiny
hey if you're having fun, you're having fun
I have 17 hrs clocked in
I just have my beefs with it
Also forgot about one or two more things
The vehicle system
Literally screw it
Lol
You literally have to go to a spawner which makes it very jnconvenient at times
Especially if you have to cross from one side of the area to the other
doesn't help that the vehicles control like ass
The driving controls are pretty shit
Overall, 6-7/10
So far, as a game
yeah I'd probably give Bl1 a 5 or 6
Finally beat Borderlands 2
Man the loot rewards are pretty disappointing
Idk what the DLC has in store though so gotta play it I guess...
#1 reason I don't like the games after the first really
loot's just shit
doesn't feel rewarding
Nothing feels rewarding in gaming anymore.
there's better gear in the dlcs
you can get 1 good shotgun from the warrior boss but that's only if ur willing to farm it
True Vault Hunter Mode is pretty nice
It’s actually mode worth playing
I get like $10-20k per play session and 1-3 or 4 levels up if I’m really determined to do so
Weapons are also pretty great
this is why im still tricked by steam achievements imo, when you see the number of achievements and perfect games you rack up over time
