speed is vectorial

2019-11-07 23:05:57 UTC

so we can decompose it on Vx (speed of it going foward) and Vy (speed of it going down)

2019-11-07 23:06:08 UTC

it's not a very good example but imagine the string been gravity

2019-11-07 23:06:28 UTC

and it's velocity foward been Vx

2019-11-07 23:06:32 UTC

(it is 😄 )

2019-11-07 23:06:39 UTC

it's almost the same thing

2019-11-07 23:07:31 UTC

I have never heard the argument that satellites and gravity are a huge contradiction sorry. I think it would work on your model but I was very surprised to find out that there was no real images of them in space if you try to look it up.

2019-11-07 23:07:46 UTC

hmmmm

2019-11-07 23:08:38 UTC

well it must be vry complex to take such pics

2019-11-07 23:08:48 UTC

it's an object moving at very fast speeds

2019-11-07 23:08:57 UTC

and it's very small and far away

2019-11-07 23:09:02 UTC

we can but why should we?

2019-11-07 23:09:21 UTC

there is really no purpouse to take pictures of a sattelite

2019-11-07 23:09:33 UTC

there may be

2019-11-07 23:10:24 UTC

also fun fact, there is so much junk orbiting on earth that it may become a problem in any second ;-;

2019-11-07 23:11:05 UTC

one cool game if you want to literally explore the space realistically

2019-11-07 23:11:07 UTC

Another good argument for globe earther that I found was the ISS moving at high speed, flat earthers would usually reply with it's a U2 spy plane and a hologram but you can calculate the speed the ISS goes and it doesn't match the U2 spy plane max speed.

2019-11-07 23:11:12 UTC

is kerbal space program

2019-11-07 23:11:39 UTC

U2?

2019-11-07 23:11:45 UTC

@rivenator12113 thats assuming the distance

2019-11-07 23:11:48 UTC

Yes I'm still in doubt of that

2019-11-07 23:11:53 UTC

And size

2019-11-07 23:12:19 UTC

hmmmmm

2019-11-07 23:12:24 UTC

If they distance and size were closer and smaller i think the math could work

2019-11-07 23:12:59 UTC

but in that logic everything could be faked 🤔

2019-11-07 23:13:43 UTC

Only if someone believes it

2019-11-07 23:13:43 UTC

if you do the right math

2019-11-07 23:13:57 UTC

you can "prove" that all the space is fake

2019-11-07 23:14:04 UTC

but still

2019-11-07 23:14:09 UTC

even if it's possible

2019-11-07 23:14:14 UTC

it doesn't means it's that

2019-11-07 23:14:26 UTC

it could be

2019-11-07 23:14:42 UTC

the ISS could be a fly flying at H x

2019-11-07 23:14:50 UTC

which's a very interesting argument

2019-11-07 23:16:16 UTC

I don't think all "conspiration" theories are wrong, some of them we have proofs and are mainstream

2019-11-07 23:17:41 UTC

but the same way this math makes sense

2019-11-07 23:18:00 UTC

orbits and sattelites also makes sense

2019-11-07 23:19:24 UTC

the thing is you can see satellites working on your everyday life

2019-11-07 23:21:15 UTC

The more I think about it the less it makes sense, if it isn't going 27,600 km/h it must be very close but how can someone know how far away it is?

2019-11-07 23:23:39 UTC

you could test with a laser

2019-11-07 23:23:44 UTC

or a radar
