A Troll has nothing to do with him. A troll to me is someone who doesn't agree with another's views so strongly they become obsessed with it and who has no viable argument or original thought who lacks critical thinking and has a personality disorder that compels them to stalks other individuals over their facts about any given subject or cause etc.

started out as an english major in uni and we had a tyrranical prof who killed us for spelling

so...I'm still feeling the effects of it

who needs a dictionary if you could spell it how it sounds? Old English new English Latin etc. Tomato Tomayto. Language is ever changing.

well...because it's incorrect according to accepted definitions. and if you start changing them on your own then communication breaks down

but just be aware of the consequences

many words have extra (silent?) letters because of their origin.

No communication doesn't break down what happens is you get same understanding just new spelling. People love old things. Not me I say out with the old and in with the new. Does nothing for me to speak how others want me to. Maybe today i will make up my own languge and it will be a new moris code or something.
