@floridaswamptrash what about seismic waves?

2019-11-21 21:52:16 UTC

What about them?

2019-11-21 21:52:34 UTC

You can detect P waves very far from the origin

2019-11-21 21:52:39 UTC

Like, is there any sharp edges, could you just fall off the warth?

2019-11-21 21:52:50 UTC

*earth*

2019-11-21 21:52:54 UTC

You'd have to find the edge first

2019-11-21 21:53:05 UTC

Who knows if there is even one

2019-11-21 21:53:08 UTC

Most flEarthers believe in an ice wall and something called the firmament, @willhelm

2019-11-21 21:53:28 UTC

What's the firnament?

2019-11-21 21:53:45 UTC

No?

2019-11-21 21:53:46 UTC

Tf

2019-11-21 21:53:52 UTC

Don't say what we believe @RadRhys

2019-11-21 21:54:19 UTC

Wym tf? That’s the dominant idea that’s been touted while I’ve been here

2019-11-21 21:54:20 UTC

Are the other planets in the solar system also flat?

2019-11-21 21:54:33 UTC

Most *real* flat earthers will acknowledge that there could be an ice wall

2019-11-21 21:54:40 UTC

@willhelm E V E R Y T H I N G = F L A T

2019-11-21 21:54:47 UTC

The firmament is just an idea until proven otherwise

2019-11-21 21:55:06 UTC

@willhelm Do they look flat to you? Also what planets? They're just lights for all we observe

2019-11-21 21:55:14 UTC

Under the firmament... hypothesis(?), other “planets” are believed to be dimmer lights of sorts within the firmament

2019-11-21 21:55:16 UTC

Are they even physical?

2019-11-21 21:55:30 UTC

But there were probes that went past them and took pictures

2019-11-21 21:55:42 UTC

Rad you've been listening to Lemon Bird too much

2019-11-21 21:55:45 UTC

@positivity the flearther will tell you they’re faked

2019-11-21 21:55:50 UTC

What's the firmament theory?

2019-11-21 21:55:50 UTC

Idek who that is

2019-11-21 21:56:00 UTC

Then stop saying what we believe

2019-11-21 21:56:03 UTC

Geez

2019-11-21 21:56:07 UTC

I'm here to explain

2019-11-21 21:56:10 UTC

You're a globe earther

2019-11-21 21:56:12 UTC

Quit it

2019-11-21 21:56:35 UTC

Mmk but that’s definitely the dominant idea I’ve heard from here

2019-11-21 21:56:42 UTC

Explain the firmament to him

2019-11-21 21:56:45 UTC

Flat earthers and globe earthers arguing is like a race war

2019-11-21 21:57:13 UTC

I don’t really see it but k

2019-11-21 21:57:44 UTC

It is joke

2019-11-21 21:57:45 UTC

I'm sorry, I'm getting multiple answers. What's the firmament theory? Also, has anyone gotten past the ice wall?

2019-11-21 21:58:06 UTC

Idk for both of those questions

2019-11-21 21:58:21 UTC

I'll wait

2019-11-21 21:58:34 UTC

I'm not gonna explain if Rad is gonna just say some bs he doesn't even know about

2019-11-21 21:58:55 UTC

Where is a good site to get info about this?

2019-11-21 22:00:21 UTC

He’s not here rn but the firmament (hypothesis, not a theory) is a posited dome that holds celestial bodies. There is no overwhelming consensus as to what it is or what exactly the celestial bodies are, but the general gist is that each body releases its own light and revolves around a centerpoint at the geographic North Pole
