Do we have a camera on the moon yet streaming photos of Earth?

2019-11-23 17:18:15 UTC

Does anyone know the name of the heroic cameraman we left there back in '69 to film the lunar module separation?

2019-11-23 17:18:30 UTC

there is a japanese agency that take live time pictures of earth

2019-11-23 17:18:44 UTC

oh! cool. From the lunar surface?

2019-11-23 17:18:51 UTC

Got a link?

2019-11-23 17:20:56 UTC

it would make sense as it would be way easier to take sharp images, esp with zoom, if the camera were fixed on the lunar surface vs traveling at 7km/s

2019-11-23 17:22:21 UTC

oh. dang. I already know this one.

2019-11-23 17:22:25 UTC

it's not on the lunar surface.

2019-11-23 17:22:59 UTC

and it's a multi-spectra imaging system.

2019-11-23 17:23:27 UTC

spectral imaging

2019-11-23 17:24:21 UTC

this should be easy right?

2019-11-23 17:24:47 UTC

we landed there in '69....even brought a dune buggy and golf clubs around '71

2019-11-23 17:25:01 UTC

we put rovers on Mars with nice cameras!

2019-11-23 17:25:15 UTC

only one side of moon is facing us.

2019-11-23 17:25:35 UTC

this should be a no-brainer by 2019

2019-11-23 17:25:51 UTC

nearly a go-fund me level project by now

2019-11-23 17:26:08 UTC

the moon should be one destination option in Travelocity

2019-11-23 17:27:53 UTC

yet....it seems we still don't even have trips in "low earth orbit" yet....even for billionaires.

2019-11-23 17:36:22 UTC

There is no point in filming the earth from the moon

2019-11-23 17:36:51 UTC

Still no correct map of a flat earth? 🙂

2019-11-23 20:10:07 UTC

yeah who would want to watch a livestream of the entire beautiful blue marble earth spinning in space.

2019-11-23 20:10:30 UTC

stupid. boring. no interest from meteorologists...

2019-11-23 20:10:36 UTC

or people looking for ufos, weather enthusiasts...

2019-11-23 20:10:53 UTC

and who cares about how much better the image quality could be

2019-11-23 20:11:09 UTC

given the camera doesnt have to fly at 7km/s

2019-11-23 20:11:26 UTC

you're right. how dumb.

2019-11-23 20:11:53 UTC

let's just spend all day on the ISS livestream watching a high altitude aircraft view of a portion of Earth

2019-11-23 20:14:39 UTC

and probably way too difficult anyway. I mean.....it's so much easier to put remote control rovers with cameras on Mars.....than even a fixed camera on the moon

2019-11-23 20:25:18 UTC

It's much easier to film with a satellite, and it's closer.

2019-11-23 20:26:00 UTC

so

2019-11-23 20:26:08 UTC

are the nasa shots fake?

2019-11-23 20:26:34 UTC

i know the natzis made it to the moon but ive never understood how it orbits without hitting the edge

2019-11-23 20:26:42 UTC

You tell me

2019-11-23 20:27:09 UTC

nobody and nothing has landed on the moon

2019-11-23 20:27:13 UTC

it's impossible

2019-11-23 20:27:31 UTC

but the germans made it

2019-11-23 20:27:35 UTC

so how did they

2019-11-23 20:27:36 UTC

no they didn't

2019-11-23 20:27:42 UTC

yeah they did

2019-11-23 20:27:45 UTC

ok
