Anyone wanna talk about future technology including Quantum computing? :)))
Hey ppl
isn't that current tech? the future is already here
Ahhhh
Tea is great
i miss the old technology
I don't
Imagine missing when the flip-phone was the majority of phones people used
yeah, at least we weren't constantly bombarded with ads
and notifications
and android politely limiting how loud i can turn up my mp3's
By using Quantum computing, we would be eliminating hackers. That technology isn’t available for the public yet
i remember the days where i used to use my phone as an alarm clock, my current phone doesn't even wake me up in the mornings
Boomer time
eliminating hackers?
Yes
Eliminate the ability to hack others
How is that possible
yes i know what it means, but how does quantum prevent hacking
I’ll explain it. Give me a second
you do realise that networked AI hacking networks is now a big thing in Russia
I should go to Russia to learn how to hack easy
Normal data/bits are transferred trough fiber optic cables from device to device which is vulnerable to being hacked. Quantum computing can eliminate hacking; by sending an encoded or encrypted message in normal bits (which are 0’s and 1’s) while the keys to decode or decipher it are sent in the form of quantum bits, or qubits, you can eliminate any attempt to spy on a qubit. When a qubit is spied on, it’s delicate quantum state is immediately destroyed in turn- wiping out the information it carries and leaving a trail sign of an invading.
Hope that makes sense
I'm pretty sure hackers could still make sense of encoded messages
yes during data transfers okay, but what about when the qubits arrive at their destination? can't they be hacked after the fact
It might decrease the amount of noobie hackers but the experienced ones will still get around it by probably hacking after it's all said in done lol
so, you're saying that if they attempt to spy on a qubit in transit, it will get destroyed
No
It will become corrupt for the person trying to intercept the data
Not destroyed
For the designated person that is supposed to receive the data, the data has not been affected.
