Police usually only want to search through your stuff if they have some sort of evidence that places you as a suspect of a crime.

Well again, you shouldn’t need to protect anything if you have nothing to hide. The police will only push for a warrant if they suspect you anyway.

Then again police put their lives on the line, they still deserve respect, they only want to stop crime.
