If they are 100 percent sure that the person comitted that crime then sure might as well hang him

America has the longest sentences for crimes out of any other country

Or if hell is real for bad people any life is greater than death

Or maybe put all criminals in an isolated islandand let them live on their own

People literally sit in prison and wait decades for the death penalty

And turn out to be innocent

@Abe Lover That's not the point, the point is that people who are innocent can and have been killed for someone else's crime

I saw a documentary of someone who escaped death penalty because he turned out innocent. And he missed 30 yrs.

And than died two years later from suicide

And if there was no death penalty those people would be alive

You can't justify it

Assuming that they live enough to be innocent
