2019-11-09 19:57:33 UTC

What day is the sabbath day what day should i not work ?

2019-11-09 19:57:57 UTC

Im really confused people say its Saturday then some say Sunday

2019-11-09 20:07:58 UTC

Sabbath is on saturday

2019-11-09 20:08:58 UTC

Well technically its on the 7th day

Sabah in arabic is 7 so "Sabbath" means around the same thing

2019-11-09 20:11:26 UTC

Sunday is more of a day of starting work or getting ready for the day afterwards which is monday.

2019-11-09 20:12:04 UTC

But really the choice is yours on what day to rest.

2019-11-09 20:12:47 UTC

Ill choose sunday to rest then but i feel like i should choose saturday

2019-11-09 20:13:41 UTC

Keep in mind protestants choose saturday for rest and other people like catholitc choose sunday and all that.

2019-11-09 20:15:18 UTC

Whats a protestant

2019-11-09 20:15:27 UTC

Never really heard that before

2019-11-09 20:18:59 UTC

BABYLON

2019-11-09 20:33:12 UTC

@Jalen weren't the original Americans protestant, it's a stream of Christianity originated in Germany founded by a Dutch guy. Well, to say, it started with Maarten Luther criticizing the Roman Catholic church, criticizing it for it's sinful ways, materialism for instance, which led to Lutheranism, a sober following of God and the Christian Bible, which led to new practices all part of Protestantism

2019-11-09 20:33:42 UTC

@zoevandenbergh

Thanks for the explaining

2019-11-09 20:33:52 UTC

Thats actually correct

2019-11-09 20:34:08 UTC

My folks are protestant

2019-11-09 20:34:21 UTC

So I know this knowledge

2019-11-09 20:34:40 UTC

Its like christianity v.02

2019-11-09 20:35:34 UTC

Its kind of like Christianity without the bells and whistles attached to it

2019-11-09 20:35:47 UTC

*well it should be at least*

2019-11-09 20:35:55 UTC

Without the hooping and hollering

2019-11-09 20:36:26 UTC

Again

*At least it should be*

2019-11-09 20:37:02 UTC

I believe the religion in itself is very good however its people and man that makes it less attractive

2019-11-09 20:37:26 UTC

Actually this just goes for Christianity in general

2019-11-09 20:38:23 UTC

The fact people are saying "gays can be Christians or people that are lgbtq can be christian" removes the identity that the church once was

2019-11-09 20:38:52 UTC

The idea is to overcome this sin

2019-11-09 20:38:59 UTC

Not endorse it
