URGENT!!!! What do I do when you and a dog gets sprayed by a skunk? I'm dog sitting a friends dog... Took him for a walk tonight and he got sprayed by a skunk tonight. My husband just said
he not going to be sleep with either one of us... LOL I washed us in Dawn - Baking Soda and Hydrogen peroxide. We still smell... OMG

did you mix it all together?

Not sure if the Dawn counts as liquid detergent. but you had the other two from some common remedies. Dilute it with water and run it down the drain afterwards.

1 quart 3% hydrogen peroxide
1/4 cup baking soda
1 teaspoon liquid detergent
Mix in a large, open container and use immediately.

Tomato juice?

@AnonMoeJo Call your Vet and get a special soap to help neutralize the odor. They used to have a product called "Skunk Off" that worked quite well. Had several hunting dogs get sprayed in the past and this stuff worked well. They will smell a little on the perfume side of things but for me that was far better than the Skunk odor

The worst part is he got us both. I will call them today. I going to Petco once it opens. I think she was protecting her baby's that where in the covert drain under the driveway. Thanks poor puppy thinks it's in trouble since he had to sleeping in the gauge.😨

When I was a teenager I ran a trap line during the Winter. Several times I was skunked so stayed home for a week hoping the odor would subside. The tomato juice solution does not work at all and if you use it on your dog any of the white hair will be stained red from the tomatoes. Petco will probably have something as well but a call to the Vet might be well advised. Advertising can be decepetive and the manufacturer may be bending the actual ability of their product to neutralize that odor. Just my thoughts for this morning so take them for what they are worth

The Petco has a vet on duties out here. My Vet's not open until Monday I just called they told me to go to Petco and get the Skunk off. She told me it happens all the time out here. 😷 Thanks will be going at 12. LOL

The pup will smell like a French Fifi but that is far better than Skunk pee

I'd rather fight a Grizzly bear with my bare hands than deal with a Skunk

If the dog really got blasted buy two bottles and bathe the dog several times on consecutive days

right in the face.. We had raccoons in the attic this summer, died fox in are pool and now the skunk. Enough with these critters. Mountain lions no bears LOL.

By the way I heard on the PSB today that 8kun will be down for about 2 months. Something about a ICANN ruling that 8kun didn’t properly file some paper work. I didn’t catch The Who.e thing. If someone has the full details please post. But apparently the Qresearch can be seen from Tor and Lokinet but it’s read only.

It also seems the isitwetyet.com has also been taken off line.

If someone can pin instructions on how to access 8kun through tor and Lokinet that would be very helpful
