lel

2019-11-01 20:43:30 UTC

be careful with gold and silver, if there's a crash in China or India and the public dumps some of their gold holdings, it'll collapse in price

2019-11-01 21:02:49 UTC

regarding gold and other precious metals
would it be worth leeching gold from PCBS and old computer shit i have around to get started

2019-11-01 21:02:56 UTC

i figured that was the next best thing

2019-11-01 21:04:19 UTC

no, hell no. Unless it were a hobby @ShirePepe

2019-11-01 21:04:39 UTC

i mean as a hobby
i'm not going to turn into a recycler i just fix shit

2019-11-01 21:06:34 UTC

even then, half the vids you see on YT extracting gold from pcb and computer parts are put up by people trying to dump ewaste, then the chemicals involved and equipment needed to extract the precious metals are so toxic, it could be a deadly hobby.

2019-11-01 21:08:40 UTC

the gold coating on contacts is pretty thin

2019-11-01 21:08:55 UTC

you'd probably spend more on the chemicals than you would get from the gold

2019-11-01 21:09:42 UTC

i'm no stranger to doing stupid shit to prove a point

2019-11-01 21:10:44 UTC

yea, its better to just find scrap metal people dumped somewhere in a field, like aluminum and copper.

2019-11-01 21:11:20 UTC

already do that too
mostly for microwave transformers though

2019-11-01 21:11:28 UTC

and those motors from washing machines

2019-11-01 21:11:45 UTC

idk i just wanted some gold

2019-11-01 21:14:14 UTC

yea exactly, those washing machine motors are worth $100 easily if they work, and the metal drums in washing machines if they're stainless steel are worth quite a bit.

2019-11-01 22:10:07 UTC

he just saved his life

2019-11-01 22:17:11 UTC

the first whistleblower says Trump did nothing wrong, nothing in phone call. AMAZING

2019-11-02 00:30:06 UTC

https://www.moneymetals.com/news/2019/05/21/cost-to-mine-silver-001775 Just a little older info on silver cost to produce from mining, since I saw someone worry it will collapse in price.

2019-11-02 01:12:56 UTC

gold and silver is more controlled by whales then the stock market

2019-11-02 01:13:21 UTC

just give up now lol @Scotty

2019-11-02 01:15:55 UTC

hey just saying, have fun making or losing 2% of your investment after taxes

2019-11-02 01:16:13 UTC

after like 5 years

2019-11-02 01:30:00 UTC

I buy mine way below that price, and silver is not for regular investing to begin with, but a safety measure if other investments/currency plunge to near nothing in a depression event.

2019-11-02 01:45:48 UTC

oh well if your making money just keep on going i guess

2019-11-02 04:48:57 UTC

Gold and other things aren't safe from the government. Cryptos as i understand them are.

2019-11-02 05:05:54 UTC
