nice

2019-10-31 12:48:02 UTC

@ikillu you don’t agree that misinformation is a serious topic

2019-10-31 12:57:51 UTC

@ikillu it’s a clear representation of misinformation being crammed down people’s throats and real truthful sources being labeled as fake or unreliable in order to sway people’s beliefs

2019-10-31 12:59:30 UTC

@ikillu to be honest I never thought about you at all

2019-10-31 13:04:24 UTC

yes @higher than christ, it's just common knowledge at this point to anyone who has been paying attention. What really frightens me is how Twitter is banning political ads, so it'll basically be users in charge of political tweets during the presidential election in the US in 2020, and we all know they'll penalize one side as usual and one side will have an advantage. Pretty sinister if you ask me.

2019-10-31 13:06:27 UTC

@ikillu How do you view that as sinister and not as a positive

2019-10-31 13:06:47 UTC

Wouldn’t less influence by ads in social media be positive?

2019-10-31 13:07:52 UTC

no, one side has an advantage on twitter, it'll be left up to the users now, left leaning individuals are left unhindered mostly.

2019-10-31 13:08:21 UTC

Twitter is mostly left though

2019-10-31 13:08:33 UTC

they made sure of that, yes.

2019-10-31 13:08:46 UTC

Facebook is mostly right but still allows political campaign ads

2019-10-31 13:08:54 UTC

Wouldn’t that be a blow to the left?

2019-10-31 13:09:12 UTC

I wouldn't know, got rid of fb a long time ago as it was constant nonsense in my feed

2019-10-31 13:09:14 UTC

And I’m sure you can agree any reasonable person isn’t gonna decide who they vote for by something they see on social media

2019-10-31 13:09:45 UTC

yes they will, think of it as the herd mentality

2019-10-31 13:10:49 UTC

I'm honestly surprised FB is still a thing, thought it would have went the way of myspace by now.

2019-10-31 13:10:55 UTC

The real issue is all the false information on pro right websites

2019-10-31 13:11:46 UTC

I mean the list almost never ends

2019-10-31 13:11:57 UTC

yea, because the left is a bastion of legitimacy

2019-10-31 13:12:38 UTC

With all of the disinformation spreading it could cause people to change their votes over something that’s completely inaccurate
