The in laws indicated they weren’t on the shutoff list, at least this time around. You’re right they got it for 2 days last week.
The rule of the day is keep a full tank of gas always!

All we ever did in the remote village, both heating fuel,propane and gas
I miss having the fuel truck drop off a load when I was growing up. Never went to the gas station.
My only concern are freezers... I 'm fine otherwise.

the tranfer power is the key...otherwise easy set-up.
I could've had an automatic transfer but prefer to be hands on and manual...just me

In the remote village we lived in, power was from diesel generators and it was so unreliable. Had both wind and solar
@Groot , you know you could hook up a generator to exercise equipment. 🤔
Back up gen if all else fails..but I don't mind candles and a hot fire in the box
