but Youtube vanced is more user friendly

since it's essentially the youtube app but hacked to add in the premium features

Newpipe usability is way better but it sometimes doesnt play some shit then i fall back to vanced

sometimes I just wanna listen to the audio and use newpipe to stream the audio only

or download videos using newpipe

but general use like casting and youtube recommendations from all the channels I sub to

@Millwood change the resolution. That fixes that for me.

Skytube has casting, the apk maintainer changed, and the new guy is having problems acquiring API keys.

so it is not as reliable as newpipe.

Yeah that used to happen quite often to me on older builds 0.14-0.16, but since 0.16.1 and onwards this rarely happens
