"Know"
uhhhh, maybe?
@Legiondude could you teach me some things then
Depends on the things
pretty simple tbh
mainly: what's the easiest database to use, is there a redis module, and how do you discover networked computers?
My college used MS SQL Server, because we know it works with other MS stuff, like Visual Studio and Windows servers
Looking at this page https://redis.io/clients, there seem to be several options for this Redis software(of which I've never heard of before and have no experience using)
And for the last I'm guessing something like this? https://stackoverflow.com/questions/22852781/how-to-do-network-discovery-using-udp-broadcast
sweet
redis is based btw
sorry for the time just noticed
its both nmap and armitage
ill send pics in a few
ok so
it seems like nmap is ok now
armitage still acting up tho
it found all of these
yet armitage cant suggest me a single exploit
Hmm...yeah, that's odd. You said Nmap wasn't acting up any more. Is it not reporting those ports as open now, or...?
it was acting up now it seems to be ok
this is really weird for me, ive been using them both for a few years now and this is a first
Well, if they were both acting up at the same time, that suggests an issue outside of the two programs that was the common cause.
hmmm so after i set the exploit level to "poor" it seems to be working
Something wrong with a shared dependency or something acting odd in the network itself.
Ah. Well, as long as it works. Might be something off with the network itself, then.
yeah now its showing me all the trash exploits tho
Networking is a school of the blackest magics.
what the heck metasploit not cool at all
How's Kali, by the way? Never tried it, but have and am using several other Debian derived distros.
thats the xp machine
uhhh ive been using it my entire carrier
cant really recommend anything else
it can defiantly act up from time to time tho
Mm.
id recommend you take a look into armitage owsap zap metasploit nmap nikto burpsuit and beef xss
those are my favs
let me know if you need anything we might black hat together
I'm good. Not much of a networking guy in general.
