I don't know Jim Carrey's political opinions but Ace Ventura and Ace Ventura 2 were both comedy gold 9/10 filmmaking at LEAST. And before you protest, the score is bumped up by 1 as a result of the standards of movies these days being much lower and quality being complete shit. So it is a better movie in comparison to most things out these days.
