imo BR is just soemthing you add on top of a well crafted mp experience
its not a valid strategy it is a requirement

As long as the game itself doesn't downgrade to appease the normies I really don't see a problem and even if it does it's the devs choice they lose their OG fans

because it comes back to what i was saying before
high variance, and stunting gameplay
high variance will lead you to doing the same over and over and doing only whats best to reduce said variance
Maximizing your chances of getting good shit yes

Seems to me like I'd be stunting if you kept playing against noobs
because its essentially at a hold
But if you're actually play against good/players the same rank as you for the first time you gonna get your ass handed to you which would force you to git gud
