Believe whatever you want.
honestly i highly doubt these politicians write their own tweets
My point is, I don't see it as an attempt to avoid saying Christian, because everyone knows who partakes in Easter sermons,
@Grodd lol I'm joking, because it IS very 'alt-right' in thought.
.... if you're white that is.
They didn't like, trick someone.
I'm not even saying I dislike alt-right people or their beliefs.
Me either 🤷🏻
But it is an attempt to avoid saying Christians.
That's exactly what it is.
There is no other purpose to it than that. Again, they DO NOT worship Easter.
They celebrate it. They worship Christ.
I'd argue that they were highlighting the activity engaged in when attacked
Hell, it's simpler to just say 'Christians'
it's actually because these people conceptually don't consider christians to be a class who can be under attack
Exactly. Why not just say "Christians".
so they have to replace it with another term
Or better yet, "Christians celebrating Easter".
Because that fucks with the victim narrative
Boom, 100% accurate description.
I cannot accept a simple slip of words as some damn conspiracy
It's not a slip you dumbass.
@EnderOctanus Multiple people used the same term
They specify the holiday
people who happened to be in catholic churches on easter
You think headlines are just shat out like Twitter phrases?
i mean you know it means christians, right
@EnderOctanus easier to say a church bombed on easter
what's wrong with saying it that way
I have never seen a Jew in a church knelt down on Easter.
ffs
Alright, quit picking on the autist
People are looking to be mad
And its dumb
@EnderOctanus so if christians are the only ones in church on easter
why not just say christians
Dumber when we do if because we know better.
I think that those in worship are very sympathetic as victims, something anyone that does politics or news is aware of and uses to their advantage.
To me it seemed they were framing it as people knelt by an altar getting targetted
Which is much more provoking
and likewise, why would these people never refer to muslims as "people who happened to be worshipping in a mosque"
