here's a better headline: government accept islamophobia definition, and make it compulsory <:pepe_smug:560207654207750154>

2019-05-25 23:17:46 UTC

In the 1950s, all it took to raise a family of 5 or more was a single hard working male. Now, 70 years later with untold advances automating almost every industry imaginable. It takes two adults working hard to barely make enough for 2 kids. Why is this. And what needs to be done to correct this pattern?

2019-05-25 23:18:11 UTC

Deregulation

2019-05-25 23:18:41 UTC

Oh, and mass deportation

2019-05-25 23:18:47 UTC

@Joe_Limon they still can in poor countries

2019-05-25 23:19:03 UTC

Makes you think

2019-05-25 23:19:51 UTC

cost of living is absurdly high in wealthy countries, due to taxes as their governments have expensive spending habits. most of the money only ends up with a few rich people.

2019-05-25 23:20:04 UTC

this is ideal for wealthy governments, because having kids is expensive

2019-05-25 23:20:13 UTC

it means the woman isn't working, and it means they have to pay for schools

2019-05-25 23:20:28 UTC

so they rather get adults who are already fully grown

2019-05-25 23:20:33 UTC

from abroad

2019-05-25 23:20:41 UTC

this is the dystopia we live in

2019-05-25 23:21:04 UTC

40% tax on income and then 25% tax when buying anything

2019-05-25 23:21:16 UTC

other hidden taxes too, everywhere

2019-05-25 23:21:24 UTC

Property taxes

2019-05-25 23:21:29 UTC

Business tax

2019-05-25 23:21:33 UTC

and some absurd tax rate when storing the money in the bank

2019-05-25 23:21:40 UTC

vat

2019-05-25 23:21:53 UTC

property prices are high (government can control house building permissions), then people are either making lots of money on their rent (taxed income)

2019-05-25 23:22:07 UTC

or they're having to work very hard to pay for their mortgage (income tax on their job)

2019-05-25 23:22:28 UTC

none of those for us

2019-05-25 23:22:31 UTC

jesus

2019-05-25 23:22:35 UTC

fuck mortgage

2019-05-25 23:22:46 UTC

Mortgages exist everywhere dude

2019-05-25 23:22:53 UTC

i think he means his is paid off

2019-05-25 23:22:53 UTC

no i mean

2019-05-25 23:23:15 UTC
2019-05-25 23:23:20 UTC

i hope never?

2019-05-25 23:23:25 UTC

ah

2019-05-25 23:23:34 UTC

2019-05-25 23:23:38 UTC

yeah
