Oh I’m a part time cashier to get some extra cash in my pocket. I’m quite content with my pay. Get my raise soon too.

2019-05-28 08:10:00 UTC

*8.2$ with taxes deducted

2019-05-28 08:10:08 UTC

2019-05-28 08:11:08 UTC

I just don’t need to pay much tax. Because state dosent tax if you earn under 1900 euro per year

2019-05-28 08:11:17 UTC

So if I earn a bit over they tax that Only

2019-05-28 08:11:34 UTC

So usually I Only lose 20 dollars kek

2019-05-28 08:11:44 UTC

Per week?

2019-05-28 08:12:16 UTC

I Misswrote @Fitzydog

2019-05-28 08:12:18 UTC

Are you going to university?

2019-05-28 08:12:29 UTC

Gymnasium. I think thats high school for you.

2019-05-28 08:12:44 UTC

Well, for me its Gymnasium as well

2019-05-28 08:12:51 UTC

but then it makes sense

2019-05-28 08:12:52 UTC

Gymnasium is a building in both English AND Latin

2019-05-28 08:12:54 UTC

BUT, ontop of the 8,2 I get a fuckton of bonusen. Because I work on weekends and nights.

2019-05-28 08:13:18 UTC

Also I get work safety benifits, pension saving, blah blah. So In truth I earn a lot more.

2019-05-28 08:13:37 UTC

Wow, you're better set up than most Americans

2019-05-28 08:13:46 UTC

20,5 is what I earn usually if I work on a saturday night. <:GWcorbinTopKek:384871333705678868>

2019-05-28 08:14:01 UTC

Yeah. The fack and union fixed everything.

2019-05-28 08:14:13 UTC

(Fack is worker union, Union is boss union)

2019-05-28 08:14:37 UTC

Oh, public unions

2019-05-28 08:14:45 UTC

sounds like communism to me, but ok

2019-05-28 08:15:08 UTC

The unions grew because people were dirt poor and paid Basically nothing before @Fitzydog

2019-05-28 08:15:19 UTC

this led to the mass migration of swedes to the US

2019-05-28 08:15:28 UTC

AND to the creation of the first unions

2019-05-28 08:15:53 UTC

And who's making more on average? Swedish Americans, or natural born Swedes? <:makes_you_think:382980749780844554>

2019-05-28 08:15:55 UTC

Railworkers, convenience workers, etc. Then the academics joined in, etc etc.

2019-05-28 08:16:17 UTC

No idea. I’d say american swedes if the swede is educated. @Fitzydog

2019-05-28 08:16:35 UTC

But thats a general about the US. If you’re well educated you Will earn a lot there.

2019-05-28 08:16:47 UTC

So are these unions mandatory by the state? Or is it just so ubiquitous that every job is in it?

2019-05-28 08:17:00 UTC

Nope! Not mandatory.

2019-05-28 08:17:08 UTC

See, that's good

2019-05-28 08:17:12 UTC

Many sectos don’t actually have unions

2019-05-28 08:17:17 UTC

Like those that fix cars

2019-05-28 08:17:23 UTC

Ont remember what the profession is called

2019-05-28 08:17:31 UTC

auto mechanic

2019-05-28 08:17:42 UTC

Yes. They for example don’t have an union.

2019-05-28 08:18:09 UTC

huh interesting. Makes sense

2019-05-28 08:19:02 UTC

Swedish working system is a bit unique compared to many other places. You don’t have to make tje relationship about worker and boss when it comes to pay. In a lot of sectors it can just be about the unions sp both you and the boss save time
