the moment you dam up a river you ruin it forever

2019-05-31 21:38:21 UTC

Water is pretty ok

2019-05-31 21:38:30 UTC

Except the killing fish part

2019-05-31 21:38:39 UTC

What about tidal energy

2019-05-31 21:38:43 UTC

Nuclear is where its at

2019-05-31 21:38:52 UTC

I don’t know enough about tidal

2019-05-31 21:39:18 UTC

tidal can work if we can figure it out. atm is not working at a commercial level

2019-05-31 21:39:44 UTC

Nuclear is the best form of energy

2019-05-31 21:40:04 UTC

It's a shame that green activists and jihadis exist

2019-05-31 21:40:19 UTC

yea. it have the best foot print vs energy output

2019-05-31 21:40:39 UTC

It's also very energy dense

2019-05-31 21:41:02 UTC

@MountainMan I don't know about Swedistan, but in the US hydro doesn't kill the fish...We have developed ways to accomidate the fish

2019-05-31 21:41:30 UTC

@Goblin_Slayer_Floki isn't your state still trying to shut those dams down?0

2019-05-31 21:41:43 UTC

we have done that here in norway as well but even then you end up with depopulation of the fish in the river

2019-05-31 21:42:18 UTC

And accounts for som 20-30% of the US power.

@galesteppes My state has been pushing to make everything but Portland a National Park for some time.

2019-05-31 21:42:20 UTC

Don't they have some sort of molten salt reactors now that are better at not melting down?

2019-05-31 21:42:41 UTC

Stops streams and fish like salmon need those streams @Goblin_Slayer_Floki

2019-05-31 21:42:44 UTC

Fish depopulation has been happening even without dams.

2019-05-31 21:42:52 UTC

No they don't lmao

2019-05-31 21:42:55 UTC

they did have good progress with thorium before they was defunded

2019-05-31 21:43:09 UTC

Once the dam is filled the water amount is the same.

2019-05-31 21:43:33 UTC

Oregon has a major salmon population, works just fine with the dams

2019-05-31 21:43:39 UTC

Muh hummanitarians

2019-05-31 21:43:47 UTC

”News” @haserd2

2019-05-31 21:43:57 UTC

hard for fish to live in said river. this picture was taken after a power company did get greedy and tried to milk the river for more water then it was able to supply

2019-05-31 21:44:20 UTC

uh... so the white helmets weren't actually there to help?

2019-05-31 21:44:22 UTC

Its a game. Who cares. @Goblin_Slayer_Floki

2019-05-31 21:44:24 UTC

did i miss something?

2019-05-31 21:44:44 UTC

@MountainMan I meant the white helms IN the game

2019-05-31 21:44:55 UTC

yea the white helmets was a HUGE scam. you can look it up on yt

2019-05-31 21:45:06 UTC

Like is the scene of them faking videos in the game.

2019-05-31 21:45:08 UTC

Would be legit

2019-05-31 21:45:29 UTC

I didn't know that. I figured they were just some kind of red cross almost

2019-05-31 21:45:51 UTC

@Nordhand Odd, there are Environmental laws against that here...So maybe something your behind on? Oddly.

2019-05-31 21:45:53 UTC

They're jihadis no?

2019-05-31 21:46:00 UTC

well, now i know.

2019-05-31 21:46:30 UTC

@MerNihiliste They were supposed to be like a Red Cross/UN like group...who was getting aid from the world...but faked a ton of videos

2019-05-31 21:46:32 UTC

Theve been known to leave people to die if they arnt being recorded @MerNihiliste

2019-05-31 21:46:33 UTC

@Goblin_Slayer_Floki we do have laws, the leaders of said power company did get 5 years in jail for fauna criminality, but the damage is done
