And everybody was saying that Macron was a cuck
And France is a lost cause
tbh I would still rather have le pen
Because from the looks of it he was
just on the grounds that I agree with her protectionism
and strengthening of the social state
He is still merkels lapdog but he is at least not a muzzie lover
And his economics are sound
It just inflates prices
It is only good for a select amount of goods
protect and foster your own industries
When done in very limited amounts it can help but it is only ever a necessary evil
from leaking out into other countries
It hurts the global economy
But it benefits your own
A bad deal can still hurt both countries involved
the african countries for example often suffer under free trade agreements imposed by the WTO
because their companies are uncompetitive with the outsiders flooding in
And because of overwhelming Chinese influence
that too
obviously nothing is only one factor

Yes but China in particular is doing it's best to exploit Africa and give as little as possible in return
