Weird, I never had problems with it
i just use MSI and RTSS
they guy from Rivatuner is pissed at EVGA because of how they did business with him
Zotac is op
I don't have the screenshot ready
Cause I'm not home yet
also my EVGA mobo was overpriced
But the software actually allows you to overclock the cpu by 2400 MHZ
For some fucking reasons XD
but EVGA is the way to go for PSUs
I always found EVGA to have the best price to performance ratio for GPUs by far
i agree
but sometimes i may pay extra for something
I've stuck with Gigabyte for a long time for mobos
next time ill get an MSi gpu cause thats who invested in RivaTuner
thats just politics tho
Hue, then you have the AMD fanboys who choose to never buy an Nvidia product because of "business practices"…
Good for them I suppose
im sure AMD would happily screw them over if they were the leading brand
Exactly
Sony always tries to do the same thing, though I think they're actually worse
im not happy with nvidias telemetry
its very annoying to re-decapitate it everytime i update my driver
Hm what do you mean?
about the telemetry or killing it?
Killing it
make a fake .exe with the same name and put in same folder, do this for all relevant files
nvtelemetrycontainer.exe, etc
you can use autohotkey
Oeh, I don't really know what the telemetry is either then I guess
this is really lazy amateur sec
```Autohotkey
Report(c, a)
{
;CheckForLibs()
MsgBox, 0, ACCESS DENIED , %c% `ntried to use `n%a% , 1
MsgBox, 0, ACCESS DENIED , It wasn't very effective! , 1
}
;if this file is rewritten by %c%, it should spawn a zlib.dll error provided i have deleted zlib from its folder and they have not respawned it. other otions; fake zlib.dll
; TelemEntries() ;existing consumer-grade spywares I have dealt with
; c==company
; a==application
LAClient()
{
c := "Logitech"
a := "LAClient.exe"
Report(c, a)
;c := ""
;c := ""
}
; main loop :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::;
LAClient()
;RZStats()
Return
```
telemetry just collects data when you run the program
i dont know much about nv's specifically, but i'd like to
Code in general?
theres a couple programs just to check if the telemetry containers were deleted, and then restore them, so you have to make a file for them too
if you change the names and compile as an .exe, anytime they try to run it, it just pops up a little notification, which is unnecessary
this one is for my logitech mouse but as you can see i used almost the same thing for my Razer Orbweaver Chroma
if you see telemetry in a folder alone, and you see .dll files with it, just delete those, such as zlib.dll. when the program tries to run it will error out when it cant get its libraries. but they might respawn them somehow
but its absolute bottom-feeder hax, so dont feel too safe with it. im still trying to work on it
AMD Gaming Evolved sketches me out far more
