I was also abused as a child

2018-04-12 05:54:56 UTC

By no means does it make things easier for you

2018-04-12 05:55:17 UTC

it's a point of contention for a lot of people but to me it sound like an argument for one's right to hurt their children. nobody is getting my permission

2018-04-12 05:55:30 UTC

in fact abuse is a massive hindrance to development stages

2018-04-12 05:57:04 UTC

you could make an argument a small slap is no big harm, certainly if a child is endagering themselves in traffic or something, but i otherwise won't put that in any one person's hands to decide, i dont trust them to hold back

2018-04-12 05:57:16 UTC

I would argue it's because of bad parenting

2018-04-12 05:57:32 UTC

people having kids without knowledge of how to raise them

2018-04-12 05:57:39 UTC

Should research their parenting first

2018-04-12 05:58:00 UTC

I mean i was actually thinking about this earlier on

2018-04-12 05:58:08 UTC

Like an hour ago when i went for a walk

2018-04-12 05:58:10 UTC

i'd agree my parents were not prepared for their children, or even each other

2018-04-12 05:58:18 UTC

I was thinking about fat kids

2018-04-12 05:58:28 UTC

and why parents give their kids unhealthy foods

2018-04-12 05:58:29 UTC

fat kids are abused

2018-04-12 05:58:52 UTC

their parents are neglectful

2018-04-12 05:59:08 UTC

why would a caring parent give their children unhealthy foods on a daily basis

2018-04-12 05:59:11 UTC

I see it all the time

2018-04-12 05:59:30 UTC

you see fat parents giving their children unhealthy foods all the time

2018-04-12 05:59:31 UTC

people lying to themselves are enabled by their family's adherence

2018-04-12 05:59:42 UTC

and drinks high in sugar

2018-04-12 06:00:32 UTC

I was also thinking about poverty

2018-04-12 06:00:42 UTC

and the claim that fat families in the west are usually the poorest families

2018-04-12 06:00:51 UTC

and there's a stong correlation between poverty and obesity

2018-04-12 06:01:07 UTC

there is a lot of lowermiddle class morbidly obese people

2018-04-12 06:01:33 UTC

its much harder to eat healthy when youre poor. so what. it takes effort to be in good health

2018-04-12 06:01:35 UTC

yes but there's a strong correlation with poverty

2018-04-12 06:01:38 UTC

which makes you think

2018-04-12 06:01:54 UTC

the correlation is because of real obstacles

2018-04-12 06:01:56 UTC

water is free

2018-04-12 06:02:07 UTC

water is free if you trust your tap

2018-04-12 06:02:23 UTC

yet they give their children sugar loaded drinks all the time

2018-04-12 06:02:33 UTC

because they want one too

2018-04-12 06:03:08 UTC

Well i think this is also part of a bigger picture

2018-04-12 06:03:14 UTC

it related to many aspects of life

2018-04-12 06:03:34 UTC

racial groups, sex groups, sexuality groups etc

2018-04-12 06:03:41 UTC

we have a culture that doesnt want to take responsibility

2018-04-12 06:04:01 UTC

which is funny because our grandparents generation was all about responsibility

2018-04-12 06:04:21 UTC

there has been a massive generational change

2018-04-12 06:04:36 UTC

its best to tackle issues in an isolated manner

2018-04-12 06:05:00 UTC

i agree

2018-04-12 06:05:04 UTC

why confuse something well-definable by including your other arguments
