I think the goverment should also own the power companies

the power companies are just middle men

they dont make the fucking power

no cause then if there is a revolution they can cut power to stop the uprising

they can do that anyway

they run the plants

they just dont sell it

my friend grew up when goverment still owned it

he said the goverment didnt need to run it for profit

so power was cheap

they only had to break even

you remember the gas shortage of i think it was 95 or 96

nah would have been three

no gas for weels

my friend has been with one for five years while looking for work

only got him one interview

if I was in charge, I would scrap it for a training program

I am unemployed and live better then kings of old

work for the dole used to be alright

done it at three locations

on location was great

was at a cafe

and they treated me well

it made me feel valued

the other 2 times where at salvos

and they let you know how expendable you where

at least at a cafe you learn cooking stuff

but at salvos
you only learn how to work at salvos

had loads of fun doing that, start work at 9 buliding bikes, 11:00 morning tea, go back to work, 1:30 lunch time, head over to the oval nearby and smoke a few billies with a couple of others then trod back to work, finish at 3:30 and be home in time for 4:20
