I heard a little it was mentioned on ancient aliens once or twice. But even they didnt seem to give it much credence.

nice

2018-08-24 01:07:04 UTC

reminds me of an older youtube video that proposed some BS about chakra alignments or some other crap and the existence of Martian peoples and portals or somehting

2018-08-24 01:07:21 UTC

narrated by some high pitched person with the whole thing being animated

2018-08-24 01:07:34 UTC

kinda looked like an extra credits video but it wasn't by them

2018-08-24 01:08:43 UTC

Found it:

2018-08-24 01:11:43 UTC

Of course i watch AA for entertainment, though i learn some interesting things i research later. Like the 2 newer versions of humans other than neanderthal and homo sapian

2018-08-24 01:12:33 UTC

The *Hobbit* people of indonesia and the ones from south america i believe.

2018-08-24 01:15:42 UTC

@Ottoman von Bismark Because the Sphinx was built in the 9th century BC *at the latest*

2018-08-24 01:15:51 UTC

Not a meme

2018-08-24 01:17:03 UTC

It was built in 2491

2018-08-24 01:17:05 UTC

Bc

2018-08-24 01:17:49 UTC

Come to find out, there's actually very little hard science people who are 'Egyptologists'. They're just a bunch of art and anthropology majors, and everything has to be okayed with the Egyptian government prior to being documented, literally so that their story doesn't change.

2018-08-24 01:18:13 UTC

Funny how it's been the official story since the 1920s

2018-08-24 01:19:12 UTC

It was *resurfaced* in the 3rdc century

2018-08-24 01:19:12 UTC

There are some that say as far back as the mid 19th century bc. Tbh it all depends om who you ask. Some say it was even built by aliens. So....for now i will take the current historical consensus of around 2500 bc

2018-08-24 01:19:21 UTC

You do realize that Anthropology is literally the study of human societies and cultures

2018-08-24 01:19:44 UTC

You do realize that anthropologists take the same classes as gender studies majors, right?

2018-08-24 01:20:25 UTC

That's like saying all of Psychology should be discarded

2018-08-24 01:20:53 UTC

If it's a social science, and been documented after the 1960s, it probably should be

2018-08-24 01:22:31 UTC

Also the sphinx was most likely constructed by Khafre (the owner of the second tallest pyramid)

2018-08-24 01:22:50 UTC

There's only evidence that he resurfaced it

2018-08-24 01:23:13 UTC

I agree that psychology isn't a science but the statement you've made is quiet a generalization and throws out almost all of the humanities

2018-08-24 01:23:17 UTC

and social sciences

2018-08-24 01:23:19 UTC

which is absurd

2018-08-24 01:23:59 UTC

Several geologists have gone on their own time to the sphinx to date it with their methods, and have been chased off the property and been banned from the country for not having the right permits

2018-08-24 01:24:19 UTC

Yes, most humanities should be thrown out

2018-08-24 01:24:29 UTC

It's just Marxism 101 at this point

2018-08-24 01:24:35 UTC

Maybe 70 years ago it was good

2018-08-24 01:26:54 UTC

@Fitzydog Do you mind sending me a link to whatever you are referring to with the geologists and in regards to your comments about the humanities to state that because college courses on the humanities are usually taught by Marxist theorists thus meaning that anything produced from the field as a whole can be disregarded is illogical

2018-08-24 01:31:15 UTC

Yeah, I'm looking. I pulled it from memory from several months back

2018-08-24 01:31:41 UTC

alright take your time

2018-08-24 01:33:37 UTC

Mates, is there a way I can send a message up to the good man himself?

2018-08-24 01:34:36 UTC

doubt it

2018-08-24 01:34:40 UTC

sorry

2018-08-24 01:34:45 UTC

Sargon isn't here

2018-08-24 01:34:47 UTC

wrong server

2018-08-24 01:45:56 UTC

Okay, so it was John West and Robert Schoch who dated the Sphinx, and then were 'expelled' from the area almost immediately by Egyptian Antiquities Authorities, for suggesting that the statue was up to 12,000 years old. 🤷🏻

2018-08-24 01:46:30 UTC

Either way, I don't see any other geologists stepping up to the plate to put these humanities peeps in their place
