Altho I perhaps should wait to get onto ship and pick up bottle from there so I can get 0,7l bottle instead of 0,35l that alko sells
Here we have a Finn, deciding which liquor he should get in tonne quantities to last him through the whole month.
@ebowden fuck you. You know that you can drink with moderation and not all finns are alcoholic drunkards. I'll buy one bottle and if it isn't cream liquor (which becomes bad quite fast cause of the cream) it will last me from 2 months to >1 year
This is my latest photo of my bar cabinet. Taken 20.02.2019, since then I have acquired bottle of absolut vodka into there.
The Ardmore scotch I bought around half time of my service last fall, the hibiki masters select blended Japanese next to it, that I bough in end of last may from Swedish cruise, same of the the cognac next to it and gentleman Jack in the other shelf next to the red book. The pernoid apsinthe, those two rum bottles and black grouse from the left shelf I bought from Estonia in end of June last year, Chivas regal 12 I bough day after my service ended so 21.12.2018. And the tequila on far left I bough on January this year.
So tell me how unsophisticated drunkard I am!
Indeed
Well don’t worry, I’m sure his organs will benefit somebody
Well, it was a joke but ok.
(Finland joke.)
I don't actually think that all Finns are alcoholics, even if the country is known for its alcohol consumption and the availability of large pack sizes when it comes to various alcoholic beverages.
Despite this, I haven't heard much of spirits and ferments that are native to Finland, which is curious, you'd think they'd have some.
They probably do.
We mostly have vodka like sprits (most famous beeing koskenkorva), cut cognac called jaloviina and typical lager beers that you could find in any country.
Whatever the rate of alcoholism in Finland, they still aren't as wasted as the engineers that designed the new macbook pro were throughout the whole design cycle.
Our distillery and brewery industry was really regulated until year or two ago. But now we have gotten quite many small beer breweries and some tests on liquors but they aren't that famous in Finland even yet.
Smaller breweries can have really nice products.
A good example would be Moo Brew in Australia.
